All children behave badly some times, but the conduct disorders go beyond the bad behavior and the rebellion. In cases of conduct disorders, the child or adolescent show hostile behavior, aggressive or disorderly during more than 6 months.
The warning signs may include:
• Harm or threaten to other people, pets or themselves
• Damage or destroy the belongings outside
• Lying or stealing
• Not to have good school performance, miss school
• Start smoking, drinking or using drugs prematurely
• Sexual Activity premature
• Temper Tantrums and frequent discussions
• Hostility toward authority figures
If you notice signs of a problem, ask for help. The bad elections may become a habit. Children with behavioral problems are more at risk of failure in school, have mental problems and even suicide. The classes or family therapy can help parents learn to establish and enforce the limits.
