We all have veins, within the year that tend to be more elastic with pressure, something as well as varicose veins of the legs. It is believed that these veins exist to protect and cushion the anal canal. When these veins become inflamed and descend on the anal canal, are considered “prolapse”. A set of veins is within the rectum (internal hemorrhoids) and the other below the skin that is around the anus (external hemorrhoids).
There are several factors that contribute to that there are problems hemorrhoids: constipation with protracted efforts and pregnancy are two of the most common causes. With the passage of years, the muscles and other anatomical structures that support the tissue become weaker and this contributes to the prolapse of the hemorrhoid.
There are two types of hemorrhoids the internal and external. Internal hemorrhoids generally do not cause pain but it can bleeding.
